Had the great opportunity to tune for the legendary clarinettist Richard Stoltzman today. What an incredible sound he gets from his instrument! I've been fortunate to have been able to meet with a few of the really great musicians from across different genres, and one quality they have all shared was a humbleness and openness towards others. You would never know from talking to Mr. Stoltzman that many people consider him the greatest clarinet player ever. Or for that matter, you wouldn't even have guessed he is a musician.
